Just because Sandee of Comedy Plus is no longer hosting a Silly Sunday blog hop, do not expect me to quit telling Cajun jokes, especially as it has now become a habit.

The trip down was "eventful" although safe enough.  Plenty of people are on the road this summer, and we got to see lots of license tags from many states.

Officer Boudreaux done pull over a car fo' speedin', an' when he get to talk wit' de driver, he ax de man, "Where you be from wit' dat accent?"

De driver done say, "Chicago."

Den Officer Boudreaux done go back an' look at de license plate, an' he ax de man, "Mais, if you be from Chicago, what fo' you plate be from Illinois?"

Sunday Selections was started as a way for bloggers to use photos that might otherwise just languish in their files.  The rules have been relaxed, and it is now simply a showcase for your photos, new or old, good or bad, although nothing rude, please.  It was hosted by River, who still participates, and is now hosted by Elephant's Child.       

We did not arrive until very late due to lots of circumstances, so these are all the pictures i got yesterday, including of me dipping my toes in the water, because it's not the first day of vacation unless you get to at least dip your toes in the water.
