All Catawumpus, a Ten Things of Thankful Post

So what do you do when the whole world is catawumpus?  You save it all up for Thankful Day and be grateful.  

This week i got to work, so everyone i've missed for so long is now caught up.

Ms. PA is healing up physically, and i am always thankful to see her.  

Her sweet husband of 73 years, Mr. Jack, died this week.  He was precious and i am thankful that i got to know him.

On Thursday, when driving to work, Sweetie and i were followed by one cloud that was raining on us.  We had blue skies, and one cloud that followed us all the way across town, drizzling.  It also produced a lovely rainbow that we wouldn't have gotten to see if it hadn't happened that way.  It was worth it to be thankful for the rainbow.

Ms. RW's new grandbaby arrived.  She's beautiful.

Sweetie had a great visit with his ENT, his ear canals are fine.  We were concerned because he had to reschedule a visit due to him getting sick, but the delay didn't hurt him any.

We also found him a nice shirt he needed to go with his good suit.  It was at a thrift store and was affordable for us, and will last him a while.

We're never thankful when the tropics are disturbed, that's why Uncle P's funeral is postponed, but i am thankful for the opportunity to trust the Good Lord.

The eulogy  is written, and i am thankful for that.  It won't get delivered Monday, but i am thankful Grandma and Grandpa and the minister doing the service approved it, and we'll have a funeral eventually.

Sweetie and i are both thankful we got gas when it was still available.  

When i stopped for ice, a lady had bought out the ice machine, and when she realized it was out (she was trying to buy one more bag), she turned and handed me one and wouldn't let me pay her for it.  (In her defense, she was buying ice for 3 families, that's why she was getting so much.)

This is possibly going to be a wild and crazy ride for the next few days.  Stay safe, and remember our blessings are always bigger than our problems.
