Just because Sandee of Comedy Plus is no longer hosting a Silly Sunday blog hop, do not expect me to quit telling Cajun jokes, especially as it has now become a habit.
Yesterday i was finally able to get back to NOLA. Miss Eva came in Uncle P’s truck. She’s alternating vehicles to keep at least some gas in both of them, since the lines are long and may stay so for a bit longer.

Sunday Selections was started as a way for bloggers to use photos that might otherwise just languish in their files. The rules have been relaxed, and it is now simply a showcase for your photos, new or old, good or bad, although nothing rude, please. It was hosted by River, who still participates, and is now hosted by Elephant's Child.
Because of how busy the week has been, again i just show what i've managed to take on my phone this week, whatever it may be, mushrooms, storm damage, and sunrise/sunset photos.
Our fence, after we got it cobbled back together post storm. |

Stunning skies. Oh that Bourdeaux....love the Cajuns. Many prayers for all affected by the storm. We never know when trouble will come our way. I appreciate all the prayers I have had from others. I love the birthday list. Cathy Guiswaite wrote the Cathy comic strip. Still love that today. Aaack! That was Cathy's line when her mom came calling. Take care. Love all the lovely photos.
ReplyDeleteTee would do well to listen to Boudreaux on this.
ReplyDeleteSorry to see the storm damage, but that second sunset photo is glorious.
Last night it rained and I thought about you Mimi. I kept wondering about what must have taken place during the hurricane.
ReplyDeleteCruisin Paul
Cute joke. I imagine there are mushrooms everywhere near you after all that rain. We had almost 5inches of rain and a lot popped up.
