They Know Where The Good Stuff Is (Cajun Joke) and Sunday Selections

Just because Sandee of Comedy Plus is no longer hosting a Silly Sunday blog hop, do not expect me to quit telling Cajun jokes, especially as it has now become a habit.

Yesterday i was finally able to get back to NOLA.  Miss Eva came in Uncle P’s truck.  She’s alternating vehicles to keep at least some gas in both of them, since the lines are long and may stay so for a bit longer.

Tee Boudreaux done be learn him to drive, an’ de firs’ t’ing Boudreaux know, Tee done be beggin’ fo’ dem to save up an’ buy him de sport car.

“Père,” he done say, “when we all done go on de camp trip to hunt o’ to fish, de rest goin’ be in dere spot car an’ dey’s goin’ leave me behin’!”

“Dey won’ leave you fo’ long, dey be back,” Boudreaux say.

“What fo’ you say dat?” Tee ax.

“If’n dey all be in de sport cars, dey’s not goin’ leave you ‘cause you goin’ be de one wit’ de food an’ de beer in de back you truck!”
