Day Off Discussions and Funnies, a Random and Happy Tuesday Post

 ***********************************

It's time once again for a random and happy Tuesday, linking up with Stacy's Random Thoughts at Stacy Uncorked and Sandee at Comedy Plus

Any day that i arrive at Carl's and he has the day off, his first words to me are, "Did you check my schedule?"

My response is always the same, yes, i know you don't have work, but i still have to clean your apartment, so you need to go sleep on your chair in the living room.

This time, he stopped and thought for a moment, then said, "My teeth are fuzzy," so i shooed him off to brush his teeth while i got my cleaning supplies.

Soon he was snoozing in the chair and i was deep into cleaning.  He got up right after i got done with his bathroom and said, "I want to sleep more, but I feel sticky.  Shower."

When he got out of the shower, he put on clean clothes, brushed his teeth again, shaved, then decided he wanted to go back to bed.  Of course, if he's going back to bed, he's going to get out of the clean clothes he just put on and back into his pajamas.

He grabbed the fresh, clean pajama bottom i'd washed and folded, then looked for the matching top.  It was now in the dirty clothes.

"You didn't wash it?" he asked.

You were wearing it, i responded.  Yes, he'd been sleeping in it up until the shower.

Once he finally found pajamas and went back to his chair, i found the fresh, clean clothes he'd just put on after the shower in the dirty clothes basket.  That's a positive thing, he actually remembered to put something into the dirty clothes basket without being reminded.

The fact that the clothes were still clean, well, that's my job security.

Also, his mother tells him to clear his counter, so his new trick is to stuff everything into the cabinet under the counter.

When i passed him in his chair right before i left, i noticed his slippers were on the wrong feet.  Upon my pointing this out, he said, "Well, they're comfortable enough that it doesn't matter."

Okay, they're his feet, so i'm not worrying about it.

How about some fun stuff:

Have a blessed and beautiful Tuesday, everyone!
