Cat Of The Day (Feline Friday) and Friendly Fill-Ins

 ***********************************

Feline Friday was started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude, and i'm going to believe it's because he likes cats.

He has handed hosting duties off to Sandee, of Comedy Plus, and it's simple to join, just follow the link to Sandee's page for the rules and the code.

Enigma SissyCat volunteered to be the cat of the day today.  Then again, she thinks she's the cat of the day every day, and cat of the universe, too.

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!

Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined.

1. When I run out of _________, I use _________ as a substitute.

2. I don't understand why _________.

3. _________ is the best time to _________.

4. It seems like I'm the only one who _________.

1. When I run out of   cat litter (which does not happen often)  I use   newspaper   as a substitute.

2. I don't understand why   The A-mighty had to make so many bugs.

3. A rainy day   is the best time to   take a nap.

4. It seems like I'm the only one who   still makes the hojaldras for our family, and my brother, the children's Uncle J, is the only one who still makes the meat/rice dressing.

Ah, the hojaldras, I have what I need, now I just have to talk myself into wanting to do all of that kneading. And I have to wait for a time when at least one of my kids will be here to taste them. Soon. Very soon!

  7. Seems Sissy Cat is trying to stare me out - and succeeding! I've never run out of cat litter, mainly because I don't have a cat!

  8. SissyCat is a cutie Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I am glad you continue to make your family hojaidras. Newspaper is a good idea for litter when needed. I line my boxes with paper before adding litter and sometimes I get distracted and forget to add litter and find someone went on the paper. Have a nice weekend. XO
