Feline Friday was started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude, and i'm going to believe it's because he likes cats.
He has handed hosting duties off to Sandee, of Comedy Plus, and it's simple to join, just follow the link to Sandee's page for the rules and the code.
Abigail says she's not getting up until it's warmer.

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!
Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:
1. ______________________ is music to my ears.
2. My favorite kind of soup is ________________.
3. If I were going to migrate or hibernate for the winter, I would go to _________.
4. I would _________ if I _________.
1. The toaster oven dinging to let me know supper is ready is music to my ears.
2. My favorite kind of soup is hot and vegan, there are no other requirements.
3. If I were going to migrate or hibernate for the winter, I would go to Hawaii, still within the same country (my passport expired or i might pick Tahiti), no worries about freezing.
4. I would retire and spend much of my time doing volunteer work if I could afford to do so.

Hibernating sounds tempting rigth now, but migrating sounds even better. I'd go to Italy (Hawaii too, but it's too far ;) ).
ReplyDeleteHot soup for me as well, and not cold -- but not vegan, as I'm intolerant to carrots, onions and legumes (I would surely starve or face malnutrition on a vegan diet, no cabbage/kale either, no apples, peaches ... ) So I'd like clear broth (alphabet soup, but homemade) or potato/chicken soup with croutons (and bacon). But I'm sure we could eat our soups together, speaking of travelling and seas.
Abigail ~ you are one smart kitty ~ fun post and great fill ins ~ Xo
ReplyDeleteLots of hugs and love to you from me and Angel,
A ShutterBug Explores,

ReplyDeleteI'm with Abigail. I'm not getting up until it gets warmer either!
ReplyDeleteI am a stinker, I was asked about what was music to my ears. I said Tom Petty. They said I was much too literal! :)
ReplyDeleteI think kitty has the right idea.
I sure like all the items that come from the fairy calendar, a lot of them make me laugh!

If I was going to migrate or hibernate for the winter I would go to Jamaica. I always wanted to go to Jamaica.
ReplyDeleteIf I have a choice I would choose to be like Abigail. It is nice to curl up in bed when the weather is cold.
ReplyDeleteI'm thankful you were able to make your day work to be with Alec.
