It's time once again for a random and happy Tuesday, linking up with Stacy's Random Thoughts at Stacy Uncorked and Sandee at Comedy Plus.
Last Thursday while cleaning for Carl's mother, Ms. V, i noticed how she keeps a padded vinyl cloth on the table under the cloth tablecloth. Since i had the tablecloth in the wash, Carl ate directly on the vinyl, and it was so much easier to clean.
This made me wonder if putting a clear plastic sheet of some kind over the tablecloth where Carl eats would keep the tablecloth nicer longer. Ms. V dug out, from her picnic supplies, a clear plastic cover.
It can't hurt to try, especially for someone who needs all this to make one cup of tea.
The brown on the counter is the honey. Yes, he stirs will a fork, what else would he use?
Yesterday he opened a new container of yoghurt. When i pointed out the already open one in the fridge, he said, "Oh, I forgot I had that one," grabbed it and put the freshly opened one back. Later, he opened yet another, he ended up finishing two of them.
Then there was the muffin. When i asked if he wanted his muffin, he told me, "Not today. It has seeds in it." Next i asked if he was going to be able to eat it later if the seeds bothered him. "Wednesday," he said. Why it won't bother him on Wednesday, well, your guess is as good as mine.
He has taken to putting on a shirt, eating, then taking that one off and putting on a different one when he goes to work. When i asked him why, he said the uniform standard has changed again. It's probably good that he didn't put on the uniform shirt before breakfast, as he forgot to put on his protective apron before he ate.
There's always something in his room that bemuses me, and yesterday it was this.
Why did he thread the clock cord through the basket handle? Only Carl knows, and maybe even he doesn't, and if i asked, i probably wouldn't understand the answer. Just know he has his reasons, smile, and move on.
Speaking of smiling, how about some food funnies.
Have a blessed and beautiful Tuesday, everyone!
