Thos friendly fill-ins sounds like mine - oly not the last one. We brought a house-checker along when looking for house. and he told us NOT to buy one we loved, as it had a zillion of them structural problems (and we did not have that kind of money). I still sometimes wonder how that house is doing. It was kind of love on first sight, and you never forget your first love ;)

ReplyDelete1. I am running low on being patient with poor driving – it’s absolutely scary as folks go thru red lights, stop signs and pay no attention to pedestrians, let alone speed limits. Yikes
2. I never run out of my admiration and love for my sweetie!
3. I work best when left alone- most of the time I do not need advice!
4. Covid and it’s effect on people’s negative behavior caught me by surprise. I thought we’d all pull together instead of being divisive.

ReplyDeleteHere in Australia, when wanting to buy a house, it is strongly recommended that you hire a proper inspector to examine the property and he then gives you a detailed form outlining everything that is wrong with the house, like if the structure is unsound, or merely needs a little fixing, or if the wiring or plumbing or drainage is no good. Then you decide whether or not you are prepared to spend extra for fixing things after you buy and maybe because of that you can bargain down the price. Or you decide against buying that particular home.
