What's In The Name? (Cajun Joke) and Sunday Selections

Just because Sandee of Comedy Plus is no longer hosting a Silly Sunday blog hop, do not expect me to quit telling Cajun jokes, especially as it has now become a habit.

We, meaning Coda, Bart and i, enjoyed being at Grandma and Grandpa's house yesterday, getting to see them, Uncle J, Lulu, Jack and Abby.  The house was rather busy with comings and goings, and Lulu was busy barking at the door, the others busy following her lead.

They never have to worry about someone getting in the house and not knowing.

Thibodeaux done be talkin' to Boudreaux an' he say, "Some days I done see you wit' Phideaux an' I t'ink 'bout gettin' me a dog o' my own."

An' Boudreaux done scratch Phideaux on de ear an' say, "You need do dat, I t'ink you would like you a dog, an' it can keep you wife, Marie, comp'ny when you don' be home."

"If'n I do, I be goin' get two!" Thibodeaux say, "an' I be goin' name dem Timex an' Rolex, an' I goin' train dem to be watch dogs!"
