Feline Friday was started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude, and i'm going to believe it's because he likes cats.
He has handed hosting duties off to Sandee, of Comedy Plus, and it's simple to join, just follow the link to Sandee's page for the rules and the code.
One of the kitties in this room at the shelter has learned to open the door to let himself and roomie out. You can't open the door for a picture, they rush to try to leave as i found when i tried, so this is the best i could do.
One note warns there are ninja cats in the room, the other asks you to put the chair back when you come out of the room. |
They rush the door if you try to open it. |
. |
The door opener! |

First i would like to offer my condolences to Ms. Ellen. She lost her sister after a long illness this past Tuesday. My heart aches for her and her family; if you have a moment, you might stop by her blog and let her know you're thinking of her.
Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!
Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:
1. _________ news is _________.
2. Sometimes I _________ to amuse myself.
3. _________ is the reason that I _________.
4. _________ would be my superpower of choice.
1. Reading the news is like taking a vitamin, you take a vitamin to stay healthier, you read the news so you know what's going on in the world, remembering you can overdose on both!
2. Sometimes I play word games online to amuse myself.
3. Needing to buy groceries is the reason that I go to work.
4. The gift of healing would be my superpower of choice.

Clever cats opening the door.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Jazz learned to open the fridge door - and taught Jewel. For a while our fridge had to be locked.
ReplyDeleteLove your fill-ins, and my condolences to your friend.
LOL Ninja cats how funny "Do Not Open The Door" heheh!
ReplyDeleteI liked your replies, I rarely watch the news these days too depressing most of the time
Have a McNinjatastic weekend 👍
That cat is quite a character! #4 would be a wonderful gift to have.
ReplyDeleteWanted to let you know that 16 September 2022 has been declared the Inaugural Cloud Appreciation Day.
ReplyDeleteLook for the Cloud Appreciators Society - there will be groups in your state/province/county [the Society is based in the United Kingdom].
I found this out from a friendly meteorologist.
And I know that felines are often fascinated with clouds.
There is a worksheet from Cloud Appreciators about cats; rabbits and other entities which can be imagined and seen and perceived in clouds.
Thinking of Ms Ellen and condolences.
Adelaide
PS: I will never forget the devaluation 30 years ago.
I was visiting with a great friend when the news percolated. The most I remember is that we were near one of the family trees and I was being picked up to come home.
Stepfamily Day and Working Parents' Day have great meanings for other reasons too.
And what? It was Hildegarde von Bingen's birthday? I must be very careful these days not to write HILDEGARDE VON BLINGEN because the people behind her make a genre called Bardcore. If your pets appreciate medieval music and ways...
I'm impressed by door-opening cats, and I sure hope people listen to the signs.
ReplyDeletePS: I would appreciate the skies much more if they stopped raining on me - looking up in the rain hurts your eyes - I think a summer day would be better for this - or taking the hemispheres in consideration a day in Northern spring time.
DeleteThose cats are crazy. I've seen dogs open doors but never cats. I like the ninja cat warning. - I am so not a fan of the news anymore. You can't tell who's telling the truth. It's so frustrating. - Holy guacamole! It's guacamole day??? One of my absolute faves. :)
ReplyDeleteSome kitties are most talented on escaping rooms they are in. Very clever. Cute too.
ReplyDeleteLove your fill-ins. Yes we go to work to buy groceries.
Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.
Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. Big hug. ♥
Sometimes avoiding the news is as healthy as taking a vitamin.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness- I am glad Lucy doesn't know how to open doors! Great fill-ins- have a lovely weekend!
ReplyDeleteWow! Smart kitties opening doors ~ Xo
ReplyDeleteWishing you good health, laughter and love in your days ~ Xo

That is a smart kitty. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I can't even imagine your having time to play a word game- you are the busiest person I have ever known. Thank you for the condolence for my sister. XO
ReplyDeleteThose kitties sure are enjoying the challenge! Those were good answers too.
ReplyDeleteSome cats are just too clever. Angel knew the lever handle opened the door but could never jump high enough to reach it, thank goodness.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds to me like the felines are slowly taking control of the humans. Don't let them get the upper paw, a cat will never surrender it back!
ReplyDeleteSmart kitty to figure out how to open the door! So sad about Ms. Ellen's sister. Going over to wish her well. Healing IS your superpower!
