Lights, Camera, Action, a Random and Happy Tuesday Post with Wednesday's Words a Day Early

It's time once again for a random and happy Tuesday, linking up with Stacy's Random Thoughts at Stacy Uncorked and Sandee at Comedy Plus.  

As the weather changes, there's more laundry than ever for Carl.

That means more work for both of us.  It doesn't help that the temperature can go from needing the heat in the morning to needing A/C in the afternoon.

This week, his mother, Ms. V, helped.  They'd had company over the weekend, and she'd taken the plastic off of the table (it's there to keep Carl from accidentally ruining the tablecloth) and left it in the sink, with gifts beneath.

Carl, seeing the sink full, had dumped a mixture of clean and dirty clothes in the laundry area.  When the sink's empty, he tries to put dirties in there and the clean stuff in other places.  Tries.

He had washed but not dried a load.  Part of the load had moved to the dryer, but all of it was still wet and starting to smell a little.  Time for a rewash.  Despite my telling him that, he tried to put some of the stinky wet clothes back in the dryer -- twice.

He has been told by his parents for years to turn lights off when he's not using them.  It's starting to sink in.  He turns lights off if he's not using them, even if i am.  I just laugh and turn the light back on again.  It makes me feel like i should be calling for lights the way they supposedly do on a movie set.

Speaking of movie scenes, Mr. L was awake for a short time when i arrived, and i let him know i'd be leaving for a few minutes once Carl was gone to go to Ms. G's house and take care of her critters.  We both laughed as i told him, "I don't want you to look for me and think i've been scared away or run off screaming from the state of his room, like it has the makings of a horror movie!"

When i finally got to his room from the laundry area, he was kicking around his empty Beano box asking, "Where's the Beano?"  Your guess is as good as mine, but i can promise it won't be in the box.

His refrigerator was much cleaner than usual, although i never expected to find this.

Deodorant in the fridge.  Then i found another on top of the recycle bin.

Of course, he'd taken it outside to use as he was getting in the car and, having nowhere else to put it, set it on top of the bin that is right next to him.

When i finally rounded up all the deodorants, i had this.

He doesn't always use them correctly as he has a tendency to swipe them toward himself instead of on himself and often gets more on his clothing than in the more necessary places.

Let's go with deodorant funnies today, shall we?
