Feline Friday was started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude, and i'm going to believe it's because he likes cats.
He has handed hosting duties off to Sandee, of Comedy Plus, and it's simple to join, just follow the link to Sandee's page for the rules and the code.
Sandee has done a great job with Feline Friday but feels it's time for a change in her blogging schedule. Starting January 6, i'm going to be trying to fill her shoes, although she is truly irreplaceable.
Angel loves snoozing under the tree at the shelter, and hopes she'll be adopted soon. She's a very good girl, putting herself back in her cage at the end of the day!

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!
Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:
1. My favorite holiday tradition is _________.
2. On Christmas (or Hanukkah) I plan to fill up on _________.
3. 'Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house _________.
4. _________ is the best way to spread holiday cheer.
1. My favorite holiday tradition is the hug. When we get to the house, we hug, including everyone we came with. When more people come, hugs all the way around again. When leaving, we even hug the people we're leaving with. Everyone gets thoroughly hugged!
2. On Christmas (or Hanukkah) I plan to fill up on salad, Brussel's sprouts, vegan paella and vegan cheezcake.
3. 'Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house there was a person or animal stirring just about every hour for some reason. There's very little sleep on Christmas Eve.
4. Smiling is the best way to spread holiday cheer. Try smiling at everyone, it usually works.

ReplyDeleteThank you for all your good works, Mimi.
ReplyDeleteWith best wishes. God bless you and your family this Christmas and always.
Angel is a sweet girl, The first time we went to the US (Orlando) everyone was so friendly and smiled at us. When we came home we were smiling at everyone, but the British being more reserved looked at us as if we were weird!
ReplyDeleteYou're going to do better than I did. I know you will and you're the perfect choice to assume the Feline Friday duties. Thank you for doing so.
ReplyDeleteAw on that smart kitty that goes back to her house at the end of the day. Adorable.
Love your fill-ins and I loved the hugging one. I'm a hugger too.
Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.
Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. Love and hugs, my friend. ♥
How ironic that it is Learn Metric Day when we are usually on break, and if not, not thinking about delivering lessons! Angel is so lovely. I wish I could adopt her. She will find a home soon, but for now, she is safe and warm. Merry Christmas! (And congratulations on hosting; I'm looking forward to it!)
ReplyDeleteAngel is a lovely kitty and your fill-ins are purrfect! Especially #4!!! Have a lovely Christmas xoxox

Mimi,
ReplyDeleteI read the good news that Sandee turned Feline Friday over to your care. I know you'll do a good job. Sometimes, we just have to make a change. I totally get that. Hugs are a great holiday tradition but then you don't really need an excuse to give hugs. Any time there's a gathering is a good time to share a hug, right? :) It's soooo cold in east Tennessee today and the wind is horrible. Thankfully, we're indoors where it's tons warmer but the city mentioned 15-minute rolling black outs starting at some point today/tonight. I hope that comes while we're fast asleep underneath a mountain of blankets but back on before we get up in the morning. :) The weather looks good around Wednesday next week which I can't wait for! Enjoy your Christmas weekend, my friend.
I sure hope sweet Angel gets her wish soon. We are so glad you are taking over Feline Friday, you will be a terrific host. Those were all good fill-in answers too.
