Happy Father’s Day! A Cajun Joke and Sunday Selections

Just because Sandee of Comedy Plus is no longer hosting a Silly Sunday blog hop, do not expect me to quit telling Cajun jokes, especially as it has now become a habit.

Yesterday, Sweetie and i treated Grandpa and Grandma to BBQ from a nearby restaurant, which i picked up and brought to the house.  We do this every year for Father's Day, buying enough for everyone in the house and for them to have leftovers and plenty to freeze for later if he wants it.  He loves it, and doesn't take the time to do it for himself any more.

Boudreaux done decide he want de barbecue fo' de Father's Day, an' de family agree, but dey be goin' to do all de work.

An' Boudreaux say, "Non, you do all de shoppin' fo' what we need, an' make de side dishes, an' marinate an' cut up all de meat, an' even light de grill if'n you want, but I be goin' be de grill master.  I be de best!"

An' Clotile say, "You be sure 'bout dat?"

An' Boudreaux say, "I steak my reputation on it!"
