In Season (Cajun Joke) and Sunday Selections

Just because Sandee of Comedy Plus is no longer hosting a Silly Sunday blog hop, do not expect me to quit telling Cajun jokes, especially as it has now become a habit.

Sweetie and i spent the day yesterday cleaning at Grandma and Grandpa's as i do each week and as he does every other week.  I'm going to have to make time to do a bit more work tidying up the sun porch where the plants are.  Grandma can't get out there any longer, and i'm not good with plants but they need more attention than I've been able to give them, and there are almost always a few bugs of some kind out there which need evicting.

Clothile done be tellin' Aline it be time fo' her to clean an' tidy de front porch.

Aline done ax, "What be wrong wit' it?"

An' Clothile say, "Some o' de plants be needin' trimmin' o' de dead leafs pulled off, an' dere be spider webs need cleanin'."

An' Aline say, "But Mère, it be de season!"

An' Clothile ax, "What season?"

An' Aline say, "Mais!  It done be Halloween decoratin' season, de dead stuff an' de spider webs be decor now!"
