Feline Friday was originally started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude (who no longer blogs), and i'm going to believe it's because he likes cats.
He handed hosting duties off to Sandee at Comedy Plus, and now she's entrusting it to me.
Feline Friday is simple to join. All you have to do is: Post a picture, drawing, cartoon or video of a cat (they may be silly or cute). Then add your link!
One thing for sure is this is a fun and easy meme to do. So come and join us in Feline Friday.
What better way to start the weekend than with a feline!
As i was vacuuming the upholstery for Ms. GA last week, Abigail didn't want to move from her spot on the couch. (She has normal hearing, she just isn't afraid of the vacuum at all, and likes being outside with her daddy even when he's mowing the lawn or using the power saw or other loud equipment.)
I told Ms. GA she would have an Abigail shaped patch of hair on her otherwise clean couch and, knowing Abigail as she does, she just laughed.

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!
Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:
1. I feel like _________.
2. By the end of the year, I want to _________.
3. December is the month that I _________.
4. My house looks like _________ during the holiday season.
1. I feel like taking a week off whether we have a vacation or not, maybe a staycation.
2. By the end of the year, I want to already have my numbers totted up for taxes as far as how much we gave to charity this year, how much my business earned, and other numbers i don't have to wait for from another company/bank.
3. December is the month that I dig out my two favorite seasonal shirts, No Sleep 'Til Christmas and All My Friends Are Flakes (the latter has Santa building a snowman).
4. My house looks like it always does during the holiday season. We don't decorate, no time, too many cats.

We have never had a cat that didn't object to the vaccuum - known in our house as the suck monster.
ReplyDeleteI hope that you do get a little time off in this busy season.
You deserve a break, you lead such a busy life!
ReplyDeleteAbigail certainly looks like a cutie. I'd say a few Furs off of her are well worth it.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't mind having Abigail's furs on me. She looks very sweet and cuddly, whatever she may be plotting.
ReplyDeleteAbigail is a stubborn one. Very cute though. Thanks for hosting Feline Friday and for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. We have been lucky with the tree and all our cats over the years. The sleep shirts sound cute. XO
ReplyDeleteAlthough it will come as no surprise that I don't decorate for Christmas, I'm shocked to hear that you don't.
ReplyDeleteAbigail is such a cutie and those were good fill-in answers!
ReplyDeleteYou can't disturb the boss of the house when she is snoozing!
ReplyDeletePrecious photo of Abigail, a beautiful kitty ~ Xo
ReplyDeleteWishing you good health, laughter and love in your days?

Abigail what a very regal name for a beautiful lady cat.
ReplyDeleteHugs Cecilia
Abigail is one cool cat !
ReplyDeleteI wish Lola could ignore the vacuum cleaner, it scares her so much she pees in odd places after running all over to get away from it. I haven't vacuumed in months, just swept a broom around a bit instead.
ReplyDeleteAbigail is adorable! Fudge and Parsley are the same when the vacuum comes out, they will not be moved! Great fill-ins, and happy Caturday to mew all!
ReplyDeleteAbigail is adorable. And brave!
ReplyDeleteWow, that's impressive! My cats are terrified of the vacuum and other noises (even quieter ones). :)
