"You've never been much for fashion.  I don't know what to do about that."

"You should know by now and have gotten over the SHOCK.  Remember the first time you told me Clay Brown was the best shade for me to wear and I asked you which one that was?"

"Yes, I remember, which is why I made you promise to always let me help you select your wardrobe."

"Well, I promise if I ever have to pack for a JOURNEY I'll let you help me choose what to pack, but until then, I'm just wearing my jeans and t-shirts in perpetuity."

"Or at least until you get a job that requires something better."

"The jobs I've applied for won't need anything else, I'd be working from home on the computer, remember?  In fact, I have another APPLICATION to send in today, thanks for reminding me."

"Have you had any nibbles?"

"Two or three good ones, actually.  I'm not too worried, something will come up."

"Do you have any special plans this weekend?"

"No, nothing much, why?"

"My FAMILY went down to the RIVER for the festival this past weekend, and there was a man there doing wood CARVING.  He'd carved a CROWN, several birds, lots of pretty things.  I know you like that sort of stuff and the second weekend is coming up.  Want to go?"

"Sure, it sounds like a nice change of pace.  As long as I don't have to dress up!"

Paul Pitcher Day (So called because it is the eve of the Celebration of St. Paul's Conversion on the road to Damascus.  Cornish tin miners would traditionally set up a water pitcher in a public place and throw stones at it to destroy it.  A replacement pitcher was then bought and filled with beer, which was drunk and replenished through the day.  These miners were great inventors for reasons to celebrate, and they did this to rebel against the rule that only water was to be consumed during the work day.)
