My Waterloo (Six Sentence Story), Good Fences, Sammy’s Poetry Day and Brian’s Thankful Thursday

You can ask me to do almost any job at rEcess, our once-a-month fun nights for special needs kids so their parents can get out for an evening, and note i did say "almost."

Coordinate the meal for volunteers, pick it up, warm it or cook it, serve it, clean up after it -- sure.

Do one-on-one with a special needs child for the night, from the youngest to the oldest -- yep.

Change diapers, give meds, deal with feeding tubes and wheelchairs -- you got it.

Do the set-up before and clean-up after -- on it.

Crafts coordinator -- hold your horses, there, unless you want a glut of glitter, a glob of glue and a craft paper pile-up, trust me, it's the one job where you want to keep me far, far away as there isn't a crafting spot in me anywhere.
