Just because Sandee of Comedy Plus is no longer hosting a Silly Sunday blog hop, do not expect me to quit telling Cajun jokes, especially as it has now become a habit.

Grandma was eating lunch yesterday and I asked if she was enjoying it.  She said it was "okay" and I asked if she wanted something different.  She declined, noting it wasn't bad, so she should just finish it because others have much less or much worse.

Aline done be visitin' Grand-mère Boudreaux at de nursin' home an' dey be in de cafeteria.  Grand-mère be eatin' de spinach on de plate, an' Aline say, "Grand-mère, I done thought you din't like spinach."

An' Grand-mère Boudreaux say, "I don' like it."

"Den what fo' you be eatin' it?" ax Aline.

"I be eatin' it as de penance."

"Grand-mère, what fo' you gots to be doin' de penance?"

"I done gots me two t'ings I shoun't ha' done.  Dere be dat time when I be 15 dat I done gone to Pierre Part to visit de cousins an' I done let a boy kiss me when I done know better."

"What be de secon' t'ing, Grand-mère?"

"Mais, dere be dat time I done gone to Pierre Part..."
