Washloads and Lunch Box Blues, a Random and Happy Tuesday Post

 ***********************************

It's time once again for a random and happy Tuesday, linking up with Stacy's Random Thoughts at Stacy Uncorked and Sandee at Comedy Plus

Carl was awake and dressed, always a plus, when i arrived yesterday.

A quick peek in the laundry room, which still doesn't have a working light, showed this.

I had to use a flash to get the photo.  When i commented to Carl he'd overstuffed the washer, he said, "That's not overstuffed, look, most of it fits..."

I told him i'd take care of it, and he wandered off for breakfast while i got his lunch.  Once that was together, i asked for the keys to the car, telling him i needed to look for the top to his styrofoam lunch cooler.

"It flew away!" he said with a grin.  "At Starbucks, I turned my back and it was gone.  At least, I guess it flew away."

No, i did not bother to ask him why he took his lunch cooler out of the car at Starbucks so the top could fly away.  Sometimes it's better to just not know.  I jammed a different top over it that is too big but will work for now.

Then i needed to deal with the stuff on top of the dryer.  I asked Carl if it was clean and his answer was, "Um, does it matter?  If it's over on that side, it is, sometimes..."

The washer was set to rinse and spin again instead of a wash cycle.  The stuff on the dryer got washed again.  Or for the first time.  Doesn't matter, it's clean now.  No, none of us want to know how long it will last.

We also had another discussion about not washing on the rinse and spin cycle.

Ms. G is out of town again, meaning i would need to leave after Carl left for work and go take care of her critters (in the neighborhood across the road) then come back.  That means the faster i get the first load going, the better, and i couldn't find one pair of his pajamas.

When i asked him where they might be, he walked past me mumbling something about his relatives and not getting postage.  Since i assumed he did not try to mail his dirty pjs to his relatives, i just kept looking and finally found them under the dirty towels in the bathroom.

His mother, Ms. V, still wants me to throw away anything in his fridge that doesn't have a top.  He's blessed i found the top to the Parmesan cheese on the floor wedged between the fridge and the wall, and even though it's the kind of shaker top you don't have to remove to serve the cheese, how much you want to bet it will be missing again next week?

What i really didn't understand yesterday, however, was this.

Yes, somehow he managed to have the floss coming out of the bottom of the dispenser.  Yes, i managed to get it back out of the top where it belongs.  That's another "we wouldn't want to know," i believe.

How about some funnies.

Have a blessed and beautiful Tuesday, everyone!
