Hungry Kittens (Feline Friday), Friendly Fill-Ins and Nature Friday

 ***********************************

Feline Friday was originally started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude (may he rest in peace), and i'm going to believe it's because he liked cats.

He handed hosting duties off to Sandee at Comedy Plus, and now she's entrusting it to me.

Feline Friday is simple to join.  All you have to do is: Post a picture, drawing, cartoon or video of a cat (they may be silly or cute).  Then add your link!

One thing for sure is this is a fun and easy meme to do.  So come and join us in Feline Friday.

What better way to start the weekend than with a feline!

Someone was hungry when s/he named these kittens Pulled Pork and Baked Beans.  They've already been adopted.

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!      /

Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:

1. Back in the day, _________.

2. _________ is an unconventional pet I would like to have.

3. Though _________ is my dream job, I'd also settle for working as _________.

4. I'd like to get _________'s autograph.

1. Back in the day,
my back didn't hurt as much!

2. Nothing   is an unconventional pet I would like to have.   I'd just say no to unconventional pets, at least these days.  In my life I or my family have had snakes, gerbils, hamsters, rats, mice, turtles, birds, ferrets, rabbits, and a squirrel.  Sweetie is always talking about pet skunks, #2 Son about having a pet fox.  I say if it's more than just a cat or dog, no, no, no, with a cat or dog I can get food, supplies, vet care, etc. easily and the others, not so much.

3. Though   philanthropist   is my dream job, I'd also settle for working as   almost anything that lets you work at a desk.

4. I'd like to get _________'s autograph.  Leaving this blank as I can't think of anyone I'd want to irritate to ask for an autograph.

  1. Your replies to the Friendly Fill-ins made me smile. I would of course want an owl for an unconventional pet. But as I'd like to travel - and it is a whole lot of trouble to be allowed to have an owl, I think I'd better not ;)
And I agree 100 % with you on the autographs ;)

  5. Those babies, Baked Beans snd Pulled Pork are just so adorable. It's nice to know that they're already adopted. I just hope there are no predators who are attracted by their names. May they live long and prospurr!

  7. Baked Beans snd Pulled Pork - what do the neighbours think when they heard their owners in the garden calling them?
Apart from the resident spider in my bathroom I'm not a pet person.
    What a view!

  17. The kittens are adorable, but I can imagine the response if I stood at the door calling them in, "Pulled Pork, Baked Beans" and having a horde of homeless people coming for the food they thought I was offering.
I wouldn't want to bother anyone for an autograph either, although I have done so a couple of times in the past when I attended shows.

  19. I had llamas as an unconventional pet... Don't know if I can think of anything else I would really want. Perhaps a specific breed of dog or cat, but, still, they would be, you know, dogs or cats... That view from the apartment is lovely! Baked beans, Pulled pork. Hope they don't get loose at a picnic!
