To Angel (Feline Friday), Friendly Fill-Ins and Nature Friday

 ***********************************

Feline Friday was originally started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude (may he rest in peace), and i'm going to believe it's because he liked cats.

He handed hosting duties off to Sandee at Comedy Plus, and now she's entrusting it to me.

Feline Friday is simple to join.  All you have to do is: Post a picture, drawing, cartoon or video of a cat (they may be silly or cute).  Then add your link!

One thing for sure is this is a fun and easy meme to do.  So come and join us in Feline Friday.

What better way to start the weekend than with a feline!

This is not the Feline Friday i originally had planned.

Ms. G's cat Angel has had kidney disease for years along with other problems, and a cranky, very un-angelic disposition her whole life.  We still loved her.

This past Monday, Ms. G came home to find Angel had been sick all over at least five times, and she was hunched and miserable and when life isn't fun any more for the cat and you've done all you can medically, let go, as hard as it is.

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!

Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:

1. My plans for the long weekend include _________.

2. _________ is the messiest person I know.

3. I can't thank _________ enough for _________.

4. I don't understand why so many people _________.

1. My plans for the long weekend include   all the usual stuff, work, church, work.

2. Me, myself and i  is the messiest person I know.   Let's face it, who wants to clean when you come home from a cleaning job?

3. I can't thank _________ enough for _________.   So many answers i could put here, the Good Lord, Grandma and Grandpa (my parents, my children's grandparents), my best teachers in school, there's no way to thank all of them for all they have done for me.

4. I don't understand why so many people   treat every trip in their car like A Day at the Races.

  1. Poor Ms. G. It is such a hard thing to do, but the only thing to do. A final expression of love.
I hope you find some time to rest on your long weekend.

  4. Sorry about the kitty, but there comes a time when you just know it is time to face the end and it is the humane thing to do, although it is so very hard.

  5. So sorry to hear that Angel is doing so poorly. I don't like to see animals suffer especially if nothing can be done for them medically. Still, it's very difficult to let them go.

  7. Poor Angel. I can't tell from the post if her owner let her go, but it sounds like time. So sad. Thank you for hosting Feline Friday and for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I drive like an old lady so I tend to annoy all the racers. :) XO

  14. Letting go of my cat two years ago was one of the hardest days of my life, but it was clear her time had come and it was for the best. I believe she'd be happy I rescued two more after that. :)

  18. So sorry to hear about your Angel. What a heavy time this must be for Ms G😿 Your answers on the fill ins are excellent, and we completely understand about the cleaning time and the races. Granny has a sticker on her car, because she's as slow as a turtle...imagine how many drivers get insane when she's drives in front of them😸😺Double Pawkisses for a Happy Sunday🐾😽💞
