Be Careful! (Cajun Joke), Sunday Selections and Sunday Selfie

 ***********************************

Little Annie is here!  All is well, more later.

***********************************

Just because Sandee of Comedy Plus is no longer hosting a Silly Sunday blog hop, do not expect me to quit telling Cajun jokes, especially as it has now become a habit.

Yesterday, as #2 Son and His Bride headed for the hospital, Grandma and i talked about the joys and travails of childbearing and childrearing.

Boudreaux done allus tell de new parent o' de bebe de same t'ing, "Be careful wit' it, it leaks!"

***********************************

Sunday Selections was started as a way for bloggers to use photos that might otherwise just languish in their files.  The rules have been relaxed, and it is now simply a showcase for your photos, new or old, good or bad, although nothing rude, please.  It was hosted by River, who still participates, and is now hosted by Elephant's Child.

What the camera finds is what you get.

***********************************

This week, Dansig the Round wants to join the Kitties Blue at The Cat On My Head for their Sunday Selfies Blog Hop.  He calls this his, "Don't hate me because I am beautiful," pose!

Two special celebrations for our pets take place today.

Hug Your Hound Day, created by canine behaviorist Ami More and celebrated the second Sunday of September each year, hopes to encourage dog parents and owners to focus on their dogs' health, safety and happiness, as well as creating a more dog friendly environment in urban environments.

National Pet Memorial Day is also observed the second Sunday of September each year and was created by the International Association of Pet Cemeteries and Crematories in 1972.
