Ferals and a Plus One (Feline Friday), Friendly Fill-Ins, Nature Friday and Flashback Friday

 ***********************************

Feline Friday was originally started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude (may he rest in peace), and i'm going to believe it's because he liked cats.

He handed hosting duties off to Sandee at Comedy Plus, and now she's entrusting it to me.

Feline Friday is simple to join.  All you have to do is: Post a picture, drawing, cartoon or video of a cat (they may be silly or cute).  Then add your link!

One thing for sure is this is a fun and easy meme to do.  So come and join us in Feline Friday.

What better way to start the weekend than with a feline!

Ms. Fiona's feral clowder is being rehomed as she's in the assisted living to stay.  Last time Ms. G and i went over there to feed them, they had a friend join them for supper.

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!

Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:

1. _________ is a blog I enjoyed that is no longer there.

2. I won't ever _________ again.

3. I once injured myself while _________.

4. I usually get _________ hours of sleep.

1. Suldog and The Chubby Chatterbox    are blogs I enjoyed that are no longer there.

2. I won't ever _________ again.   Nope, i know better than to answer this one.  Every single time i say, "i will never" the Good Lord challenges me with a "Wanna bet?" and i end up in a position of having to do it!

3. I once injured myself while   chasing a child at rEcess.  I stepped out of my shoe running down the hall and hit the floor and got a shiner, although i was not really injured.

4. I usually get   3-7  hours of sleep.  Yes, it can vary that much, depending on how early i can get to bed, how early i have to get up for work, and whether i end up with insomnia that particular night.  Only if i don't have to get up by a certain time the next morning do i ever get close to 8 full hours.

  1. Three hours sleep? And a busy day ahead - you must be running on empty.

  2. That chicken knows where to come for food. I suffer from insomnia and very often get zero hours sleep. I like to watch Escape to The Country mid afternoon and usually have a short snooze then. I never get to see which house they choose if any.
I couldn't enter my link today and kept getting the error code.

    1. I have got my link up now. I always use the first one for Javascript, but just tried the second code and that worked.

  3. That natural yard photo was so inviting. I have to be careful not to say "never" but there are times I mean it and I carry through, lol. A chicken! Now which one of you ladies is going to rehome it? Or make Sunday dinner.

  4. That is just too funny with the chicken joining the cats for dinner! Hopefully she didn't become their dessert. And it's nice to see your neighbourhood doggies having a good romp together. Good vibes all around.

  5. That is funny that the chicken joined them. Thank you for hosting Feline Friday and for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I am not familiar with those blogs, but it is sad when they are no longer there. Sorry you don't get much sleep. A melatonin supplement may help. XO

  8. I have no idea how anyone can function on 3 hours sleep. And the older I get, the more I need.

  14. Is that a young turkey coming to share the cat food? I know others have said chicken, but the tail says turkey to me.

  15. Oh, nice new friend -. as long as everyone is fed ;) I'm with you in the "never" business, never say never!

  16. Did the chicken leave any eggs for the kitties??? Just kidding.

Mom tries to get at least 7 hours of sleep, but most nights it is really 7 hours in the bed but a lot of nonsleep time. She tosses and turns a lot during the last three hours.
