Awww Monday is hosted by Sandee at Comedy Plus.
Join us every Monday for Awww...Mondays. Post a picture that makes you say Awww... and that's it.
Make sure you get the code from Sandee's site, linked above, and leave a link to your post so we can visit you. What better way to start the week than with a smile!
Jack dog is a Mr. Nice Guy and is one of the meekest animals you will ever meet. Also, his cone scares him. He did finally sit quietly with it and he's an awww if i ever saw one.

Sparks is the brainchild of Annie of McGuffy's Reader, who wanted us to post something positive and uplifting at the start of the week. While she no longer blogs, i like to post an Inspiring Quote of the Week in her honor.

The child was adamant
he was going to try
those awful veggies when
some pigs had learned to fly.
"They're nasty and they're funky!"
said the little lad,
"and I can tell by looking
they're going to taste real bad!"
Mom said, "One bite won't hurt you,"
she knew the song and dance,
"If you still find them funky, it's fine,
but, one bite! give peas a chance!"

ReplyDeleteCones are no fun. Nelson totally destroyed the first one he had when he had eye surgery. Hopefully he won't need it for much longer.
ReplyDeleteJack ~ the 'cone' will be off soon ~ sweet doggie ~ and fun sparks ~ hugs,
ReplyDeleteWishing you good health, laughter and love in your days ~

ReplyDeleteJack, you are such an adorable dude. Those are good Sparks and good poems too.
ReplyDeleteAwww, Jack is so cute.
ReplyDeleteJack is sweet. "give peas a chance" ha ha. I sometimes wonder why children dislike any particular food when they have never tried it.
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine what it must be like to wear a cone! Give peas a chance - perfect!
ReplyDeleteJava Bean: "Ayyy, Jack Dog, I do not like the cone of shame either."
