No Good (Six Sentence Story), Good Fences, Sammy’s Poetry Day and Brian’s Thankful Thursday

 ***********************************

"What do you think of this one?"

"It smells rank."

"Out it goes, then."

My client Ms. G and i were going through her old toiletries in a storage cabinet sorting a variety of creams and lotions and potions and soaps and etc.

Those deemed worth keeping went right back into storage, to "ripen," i guess.

Next round, those will probably be the ones thrown away.

Linking up with Denise at Girlie On The Edge Blog, where she hosts Six Sentence Stories, and the cue is Rank.

While Good Fences Around the World seems to have gone the way of the dodo bird, i still enjoy looking for and posting interesting fences, so i will!

It's Angel Sammy's Poetry Day This week's image and my poem:

We're Mardi Gras royalty,

each parade, every year,

catching beads on the balcony

and we've got all the gear.

We're in the krewe and dance at balls

and use our masks like a mime,

we have a blast and enjoy it all

each and every Carnival time!

  2. I loved your Marti Gras ladies! I never thought about it, but I am sure there is a crew of them and oh what fun they would be to watch! And I can picture at least one of them being the main player in your six. What a delight to visit you today.

  3. Some people just can't get rid of things even when they haven't been used in years! Mom was in New Orleans for Mardi Gras a few times when she was a flight attendant. She said it was a wild time.
