Just because Sandee of Comedy Plus is no longer hosting a Silly Sunday blog hop, do not expect me to quit telling Cajun jokes, especially as it has now become a habit.
Lulu dog spent a good hour yesterday following me around because there were thunderstorms in the area. We got no rain and we people didn't hear any thunder, but she must have as she was so scared and it only happens when there's thunder (or fireworks). Poor girl, i just let her follow me as i cleaned and she kept trying to lie next to me, and then i'd move to clean something else. It's amazing what we'll do for our pets.
Boudreaux done be at de HubbaHubba Lounge wit' de boys and dey be passin' a good time when Pierre, a young new married man, done get him de call on de phone.
He listen a bit an' den he jump up, say, "I gots to go!" an' run to pay hims tab.
"What be's de rush, Pierre?" Boudreaux ax.
An' Pierre say, "Dat be's my wife an' she done tole me if'n I's not home in ten minute, she be goin' feed my supper to de dog, an' mais! I don' want nuthin' bad happen to my dog!"

Sunday Selections was started as a way for bloggers to use photos that might otherwise just languish in their files. The rules have been relaxed, and it is now simply a showcase for your photos, new or old, good or bad, although nothing rude, please. It was hosted by River, who still participates, and is now hosted by Elephant's Child.
My phone is misbehaving, it needs a new charging port, so i'm mostly using the very cheap and inefficient spare phone. The pictures are what I could get to that was saved where i had access.
Blogger put them in its own order, with Vacation Bible School booth photos mixed in with sky shots, flowers, and blooming crepe myrtles as well as a new decorative bowl i noticed at Ms. G's house. I'm sure all of you will know which ones are which.
