Yesterday was another visit to Grandma and Grandpa's house, and with the darkness descending so early, we leave earlier than in the summer.

When Sweetie comes with me, he drives down and i drive back.  He feels less comfortable driving at night any more, and he tries to only drive at night if it's a route he knows very, very well and drives all of the time.

Boudreaux been out one night an' he saw a accident.  He stay an' call for de emergency folk, an' he tell de officer 'bout what he seen.

De driver who done cause de accident done try to say he not done it, an' when dey gets to court, Boudreaux gets him up to witness.  De lawyer done be tryin' to say Boudreaux don't gots good night vision an' don' be able to see what really happen.  He ax, "Mr. Boudreaux, how far can you see at night?"

An' Boudreaux say, "Mais, all de way to de moon!"
