Mikey's Toes (Feline Friday) and Friendly Fill-Ins

(Because some people like Blogger and some like WordPress, i am putting the same content at both.  If you would prefer to read this on the other site, it is linked here.)

***********************************

Feline Friday was started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude, and i'm going to believe it's because he likes cats.
He has handed hosting duties off to Sandee, of Comedy Plus, and it's simple to join, just follow the link to Sandee's page for the rules and the code.

Mikey is trying to snooze, which is good, as he wouldn’t let me get a picture of his toes otherwise:

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!

Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:

1. I can't wait to have _________ on Thanksgiving. (If not in the USA, substitute your next holiday.)

2. I am thankful for _________.

3. When it comes to pie, _________.

4. A feast is not a feast without _________.

1. I can’t wait to have Brussel’s sprouts roasted in olive oil on Thanksgiving.

2. I am thankful for space heaters and heating pads.

3. When it comes to pie, Sweetie will have none other than pumpkin, heavily spiced.

4. A feast is not a feast without family in attendance, as many as can possibly be there.

  1. Mimi,

We have a mattress heating pad which is furtastic! I hate climbing into a cold bed and it's surely been cold the last several nights. Please keep DD#1 in prayer. She's having a biopsy in 2-weeks. They suspect and want to rule out the possibility of cervical cancer. Also, remember DH. His dental implant failed and has to have it redone. :( God is in charge of all things and I thank Him for everything! Have a good weekend, my friend!

  2. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I have never made Brussels sprouts for Thanksgiving, but I think I will as we still have plenty in the garden ( they taste better after a frost ). And thanks for the reminder of heating pads, I need to get Penny's out. Mikey is adorable. Have a wonderful weekend! XO

  4. Mikey is a cutie pie too. They are ever so precious.

I love all your answers. I too love Brussels sprouts, but they don't like me. I take medicine for my digestion for a good reason. So many things I can't eat anymore.

I love your answer to #4. We both said the same thing.

Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend, my friend. ♥

  11. Good answers. Last year the peeps bought some brussel sprouts right on the stem and are thrilled they're selling them again this year. TW says you can never have too much cinnamon and spices in pumpkin pie and she makes it that way.

  13. Oh, The Tribe of Five is with you on heated things. The Humans bought us a pillow with a sheepskin cover and the best part of this pillow is that it has a cord and when they plug the cord into the wall it heats up! Meowza, every feline needs to have one of these!
    Purrs & Head Bonks,

  14. Just look at those kitty toesies! And thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! Can you believe I've never had Brussels sprouts? I should probably remedy that. I have, however, had lots of pumpkin pie.
