It's Thankfuls day during the month of the A to Z challenge, so i'm sure you all know the drill, thankful things that start with the letter L.

Life is first, both in the big way (actually existence, without which i would not be having this discussion) and my life (which is not easy but is blessed beyond measure anyway).

Love, of The Lord, family, friends, and pets.  Bigger Girl once asked me, when she was a very small child, if we were poor, and i told her we are rich in love.  Indeed we are.

Loyalty, which we don't think about much until it is not there.

Lemons, because you can't make lemonade without them, and Lettuce, among other edibles.  Life needs lemonade and salad, although not necessarily at the same time.

Luck, which is really just another name for The Lord's providence.

Lunceford the Land Yacht, our car that is, providentially, holding up.  He got an oil change and his tires rotated yesterday.  They threw in the rotation for free!  (Yes, i would list excellent mechanics, like Kevin and Lenny, if mechanic started with an L.  That's okay, i am thankful for them anyway, but on the side and we'll pretend i didn't break with my theme and call them licensed auto repair technicians.)

Literature, because if it weren't for great literature, i wouldn't have anything to read, and that would be a tragedy.  Also Learning, which we should never, ever stop doing.

In the above vein, Libraries and Librarians.

Light, both natural and artificial, and especially LED lightbulbs, which i think are the best thing since Edison's original.

Ladders, because i am short (call it what it is, i'm not vain enough to call it vertically challenged).

Law and Lawyers (yes, really), because without the rule of law, and a justice system, this life would not be what it is in this country.

L, as can be seen by this list, is a very important letter!

Please join us and our gracious and wonderful hostess Kristi from ThankfulMe, write up your own list and link up to Ten Things of Thankful.
