Mr Manners is a cutie.
ReplyDeleteI really like your well-shod poem too (and join you in worrying about those who are shoeless through no choice of their own).
I like your shoes poem, I worry about those without shoes too, especially little kids I see being dragged around town barefoot in winter and even the parents only wearing thongs (flip flops), but both smoking and out here smokes cost a lot more than a cheap pair of K-Mart sneakers for kids.
ReplyDeleteIt is fun to see from you "dates" list, that ice for amusement - ice rinks - came before refrigerators.
ReplyDeleteCute Mr Manners. I too feel sorry for those without shoes. Happy new week!
ReplyDeleteI had a doggy just like Mr M - mine was called Henry, can't remember why!
ReplyDeleteWhat an interesting approach to poetry. Beautiful and succinct, but I do think Bear is mis-named. Sir Bear might be more appropriate.
ReplyDeleteLooks like he's taking time to stop and smell the flowers. Something more people need to learn to do more often.
ReplyDeleteThat pup sure does look happy with the flowers at least.
ReplyDeleteBear is one dapper looking dog :) The shoe pictures were really interesting. I might just have to paint my toes today!
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure that I celebrate National No Diet Day almost every day, but I could still stand to focus a little more on my health in general.
ReplyDeleteNice to see you Bear! I told Simon that toes are not toys!
ReplyDeleteMr. Manners is a handsome mandog. Yes he is.
ReplyDeleteLove your Spark. So very true.
Oh the shoes. I've too many shoes and I'm not into shoes. I never throw them away.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous day and week, my friend. ♥
Bear is very awww worthy. That was a fun poem. Excellent spark too.
ReplyDeleteSweet doggie and great spark ~
ReplyDeleteHappy Day to you,

I like your poem with pictures! And yes, I worry about those who go without shoes, too. Or other necessary articles of clothing.
ReplyDeleteAwww, what a sweet happy baby!
ReplyDeletePretty puppy, and lots of cute shoes too. Love the warmth to wear the open toes.
