ReplyDeleteI really like your well-shod poem too (and join you in worrying about those who are shoeless through no choice of their own).
I like your shoes poem, I worry about those without shoes too, especially little kids I see being dragged around town barefoot in winter and even the parents only wearing thongs (flip flops), but both smoking and out here smokes cost a lot more than a cheap pair of K-Mart sneakers for kids.

ReplyDeleteWhat an interesting approach to poetry. Beautiful and succinct, but I do think Bear is mis-named. Sir Bear might be more appropriate.
