Culprit (Six Sentence Story), Good Fences, Dog Poem/Cat Poem (Sammy’s Poetry Day), and Brian’s Thankful Thursday

 ***********************************

Yes, I know she shouldn’t have.

Yes, I know it was her, even though she tried to deny it.

No, I don’t hold a grudge and she won’t be in that much trouble, even though I was looking forward to having a couple of them myself tonight after dinner.

When every single one of the home made peanut butter cookies has disappeared from the cabinet you thought was locked, and you found the plasticware container under her bed, and you know you didn’t eat them, that only leaves one answer.

Yes, I know the dog did it.

If she could talk, when it comes to peanut butter, and especially peanut butter baked goods, she would say that resistance is futile.

Linking up with Denise at Girlie On The Edge Blog, where she hosts Six Sentence Stories, and the cue is Resistance.

Gosia at Looking for Identity has taken over Good Fences, and it's now Good Fences Around The World.  Post a picture of a fence or gate, link back to her blog, and go visit other blogs to see what interesting fences there are out in this big world.

Gosia has been having a bit of trouble with her blog, so there might or might not be a link up this week.

Somebody got a new fence:

It's Angel Sammy's Poetry Day This week's image and my poem:

Dog’s Poem:

My kitten is warm,

My kitten is fluffy,

She likes to snuggle,

I call her Muffy.

I hold her close,

She counts on me

To keep her safe

She’s my baby.

Cat’s Poem:

Don’t laugh,

He’s a good blanket.

  1. That fence is a veritable fort, and your poem so funny. Clever dog, did you ever find out how it got through a locked door?

Your poem. Says it all, doesn't it, lol

  3. Mom doesn't like anything with peanut butter, so it is rare we even get any around here, but we do love it. Hope the pup didn't get sick from eating the cookies! No privacy fence for us. Mom like us to be able to look out of the yard, and she wants to as well, but lots of people like to be locked in.
