Feeling Fine (Cajun Joke) and Sunday Selections

Just because Sandee of Comedy Plus is no longer hosting a Silly Sunday blog hop, do not expect me to quit telling Cajun jokes, especially as it has now become a habit.

Today is Grandpa's birthday.  Last year, when i asked him if he had a good birthday, he said it was great, he had meetings all day long.  He meant that.  What he's going to do this year, with no meeting to go to, i have no clue.

He was a doctor, and a very progressive one in his day.  He almost got his license yanked for doing such daring things as letting fathers in the delivery room and encouraging women to choose when and whether they wanted pain relief during delivery.

One thing he never believed in was just handing out pills.

Clothile done be nervous an' upset 'bout t'ings, an' de traiteur done give her de tranquilize pills an' tell her to take one when she need it.

Boudreaux done notice she not be takin' dem, an' he ax her 'bout it.

Clothile say, "Mais, I done stop takin' dem t'ings, I was feelin' so good I was bein' nice to people I don' even like!"
