Happy Independence Day!
***********************************
Just because Sandee of Comedy Plus is no longer hosting a Silly Sunday blog hop, do not expect me to quit telling Cajun jokes, especially as it has now become a habit.
We were discussing today's celebrations and how the increased price of fireworks will probably not slow down most of the people setting them off.
Of course, they start so early and go on so long, too. Makes you want to tell them, "I wish you a happy 8:52pm!"
Clothile done ax Boudreaux what he want to put on de shoppin' list fo' her to get at de store fo' de Fourth o' July celebratin' when de family come. “You want me get de usual?” she ax.
"Get veggie burgers!" he say.
"What fo’ you want me get veggie burgers?" ax Clothile.
An' Boudreaux say, "Mais! Dat way one de othe' relative will volunteer to host nex' year!"

Sunday Selections was started as a way for bloggers to use photos that might otherwise just languish in their files. The rules have been relaxed, and it is now simply a showcase for your photos, new or old, good or bad, although nothing rude, please. It was hosted by River, who still participates, and is now hosted by Elephant's Child.
This week, i have been a bit lax in getting photos, so a few from memory lane, all from 2013:

ReplyDeleteCute joke and great photos. Happy 4th! XO
ReplyDeleteUh-Oh, the kitties are in the fridge. Love the basket of kittens and the north pole and Boudreaux aiming to get another relative to host next time.
ReplyDeleteI think Boudreaux is onto something! Serve something people don't like and someone else will step up. I'm trying it . . .
ReplyDeleteThere is just something about little bitty kitties when their ears are still bent at the tips and their tiny tails stick straight out. Soooo cute!
Awwwww...I say, with a wide smile on my face (where else would it be?) :)
ReplyDeleteOh Boudreaux! That is a great idea! Oh I love the kittens, that is how they win you over. ALways my pleasure to be here, thank you
