Just because Sandee of Comedy Plus is no longer hosting a Silly Sunday blog hop, do not expect me to quit telling Cajun jokes, especially as it has now become a habit.

We were discussing today's celebrations and how the increased price of fireworks will probably not slow down most of the people setting them off.

Of course, they start so early and go on so long, too.  Makes you want to tell them, "I wish you a happy 8:52pm!"

Clothile done ax Boudreaux what he want to put on de shoppin' list fo' her to get at de store fo' de Fourth o' July celebratin' when de family come.  “You want me get de usual?” she ax.

"Get veggie burgers!" he say.

"What fo’ you want me get veggie burgers?" ax Clothile.

An' Boudreaux say, "Mais!  Dat way one de othe' relative will volunteer to host nex' year!"
