Feline Friday was started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude, and i'm going to believe it's because he likes cats.
He has handed hosting duties off to Sandee, of Comedy Plus, and it's simple to join, just follow the link to Sandee's page for the rules and the code.
Ms. GA told me there was a new cat hanging around, a black and white male. He was rather shy, she said, not wanting to be petted, but not running away, either.
She wanted to get a picture of him to put on Nextdoor, find out if anyone is taking care of him and offer to share the cost of neutering him.
While she was gone, i got pictures, all right, and he has a collar, so someone is claiming him. Whether the person will agree to the neutering plan remains to be seen.

ReplyDeleteThat black and white male cat looks big. Hope the owner will agree to have the cat neutered. I too read a lot when I was young but very less now. I used to complain about traffic but I am glad I seldom do now.

Retirement was scary at first, but it's ever so wonderful.

ReplyDeleteHe is a huge cat! Was his father a panther? I hope the owner agrees to neutering, but again, he might be a breeder, in which case he should be running around town.
ReplyDeleteIt always scares me to see a cat running loose. We have coyotes who have been known to pick off a few poorly supervised pets. And the neighbour's unsupervised (and de-clawed, but don't get me started on that!) cat drowned in our pool. It was not a good day for ANY of us.
