Just because Sandee of Comedy Plus is no longer hosting a Silly Sunday blog hop, do not expect me to quit telling Cajun jokes, especially as it has now become a habit.

Grandma is very glad i was able to get to NOLA yesterday and get the house clean.  She's also both ecstatically happy Uncle P is doing better (he may even get out of ICU today!) and very upset with the scare he put us through.

Boudreaux done gots hims family to de church on Sunday an' dey be in de pew, listenin' to de priest give de homily.  De Gospel readin' dat day be from Luke, on de Prodigal Son.

So de priest be talkin' 'bout dat, an' he get to de part where de Père be runnin' to meet hims son.  An' de priest say, "An' can you t'ink how glad de Père be dat hims son be home?  It done make me wonder what be de firs' t'ing he done say?"

An' Tee Boudreaux say, "Mais, fils, you be grounded!"

Sunday Selections was started as a way for bloggers to use photos that might otherwise just languish in their files.  The rules have been relaxed, and it is now simply a showcase for your photos, new or old, good or bad, although nothing rude, please.  It was hosted by River, who still participates, and is now hosted by Elephant's Child.      

Having Coda with us for a good while was a joy, i'm going to miss her (although i know i will see her again soon).  Walking her each morning, i also got to see other residents of the park up close.
