1. My cure for the hiccups is really weird. Get a glass of water, stick your thumbs in your ears, bend over and grab the glass with your fingertips, and drink from the far edge so you are drinking upside down. It works, just drink slowly so you don't spill the water all over yourself.
2. I am currently reading Fresh Faith by Jim Cymbala and The Envy of Eve: Finding Contentment in a Covetous World by Melissa Kruger (our current Ladies' Circle book).
3. I would recommend prayer to anyone who is breathing.
4. I can do without most cleaning products as long as i have either Lysol or Clorox, they will clean just about anything in a pinch as well or better than some of the "specialty" cleaners.

ReplyDeleteI am certain that I would pour water all over myself if I tried your hiccup cure. Fortunately I rarely get them - and never for long.
It is always nice to see Dansig. I would get myself tied up in knots trying to to stop my hiccups like that. Holding my breath usually works for me.

Now that is a cure I have not heard of- now I want to have hiccups to try it. :) Your book club choice sounds good. My go to cleaner is dishwasher liquid mixed with water- it gets everything out. I used it when Polar Bear used to sneeze all over the walls and it was hard to get off unless I sprayed with that. Have a nice weekend. XO
