Just because Sandee of Comedy Plus is no longer hosting a Silly Sunday blog hop, do not expect me to quit telling Cajun jokes, especially as it has now become a habit.
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving, with something for everyone. Even i had my favorite Brussels sprouts sautéed with olive oil and onions.

Sunday Selections was started as a way for bloggers to use photos that might otherwise just languish in their files. The rules have been relaxed, and it is now simply a showcase for your photos, new or old, good or bad, although nothing rude, please. It was hosted by River, who still participates, and is now hosted by Elephant's Child.
It’s time for another trip down memory lane — old photos, just what struck my fancy.

Great selection. I love the kitty smiling at the bowl of food, the ones playing with the shoe and is that a tiny wedding cake I see there? I love the cabinet with all the Christmas Village houses all lit up. I do wonder though how on earth someone can drive with the car packed so full, how does he see out the rear view mirror? He would be pulled over and fined in Australia.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Boudreaux on the vegetarian food.
I loved your selections. Of course. Thank you for taking us down memory lane with you.
ReplyDeleteI get my 'weird food' pretty much to myself. Which is fine. You can keep your brussel sprouts though. My mother told me that I couldn't be a vegetarian if I didn't like them. She was wrong.
It's good to go down memory lane.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Photo number 2 makes me think of dusting!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely white cabinet with Christmas houses - very striking. Love the kitten/cat photos. I agree with you on Decorate Your Dog Day - don't! Hope you had a good Thanksgiving Day, Mimi.
ReplyDeleteI don't why people don't like Brussels sprouts. I love them. Have a great day Mimi.
ReplyDeleteCruisin Paul
I made a comment similar to Boudreaux's when my daughter went vegan. Now I'm eating my words, and even her food sometimes - it's not that bad!
ReplyDeleteNice mix of pix!
Totally agree: "if you be going to eat weird food, you don' have to share!"
ReplyDeleteYou can have the Brussel sprouts all by yourself ;) But those blue flowers, I'll take them any time.
Cute joke and great photos. I just heard Link tell his adoption story on Feline O'Pines. I am so glad you rescued that cutie. XO
ReplyDeleteI quite like sprouts too especially with my Christmas dinner yours sounded very tasty lol @ the joke ha! :-)
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed all the photos and that kitten awww :-)
Have a brusselsproutstastic Sunday 👍
I LOVE your memory lane photos! They are wonderful! Just like you! Have a marvellously happy day!
ReplyDeleteMy, oh, my! What an array of pics. I particularly love the ones of the kittens playing with the shoe! :)
