Cool Cat (Feline Friday), Friendly Fill-Ins, and Moods Vs. Attitudes (Month Poetry Group)

***********************************

Feline Friday was started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude, and i'm going to believe it's because he likes cats.

He has handed hosting duties off to Sandee, of Comedy Plus, and it's simple to join, just follow the link to Sandee's page for the rules and the code.

We've had unseasonably warm weather, and this is Tripod SissyCat trying to stay cool.

Charles J. Brady: “The real measure of a day's heat is the length of a sleeping cat.”

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!

Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:

1. I had hoped to _____________________in 2021 but didn’t.

2.A goal I have for 2022 is _____________________.

3. I’ll be _________ when 2021 ends.

4. I hope 2022 brings _________.

1. I had hoped to   finish a couple of more projects around the house  in 2021 but didn’t.

2.A goal I have for 2022 is   get the areas on the back of the house where the paint is peeling repainted.

3. I’ll be   wondering what's next  when 2021 ends.

4. I hope 2022 brings   joy, peace and happiness to us all.

Today is the Monthly Poetry Post, hosted by Karen at Baking in a Tornado.  The theme is Moods.

Which one came first,

Mood or attitude?

It's something i want to know,

Not trying to be rude.

Mood's more than emotion,

It's emotional state of mind,

An emotion's a flash in the pan,

Mood's the sticking around kind.

But can you change emotions

That fuel your longer moods,

By making the kind of choices

That lead to better attitudes?

It's something i want to work on

As this new year goes by,

To keep uplifted moods through attitudes,

At least it's worth a try.

Don't forget to go read poems by the other participants:

  12. I snuck up on 2022, even though it didn't sneak up on me. I saw the New Year in, as I always do; and as I always do, I saw it in very quietly. No shenanigans...just me and my two furry best mates.

I hope 2022 treats you and your loved ones kindly, messymimi. May everything you wish fore come true...take good care. :)
