Dream Big (Cajun Joke) and Sunday Selections

Just because Sandee of Comedy Plus is no longer hosting a Silly Sunday blog hop, do not expect me to quit telling Cajun jokes, especially as it has now become a habit.

Yesterday at around 2pm, Grandma was telling me she was tired and might be taking a nap soon.

I told her that when she decided to nap, i'd go ahead and leave.

Her response was, "Well, not right now, a bit later."

If you wait too much later to take a nap, i told her, it's called going to bed!

One day Tee done walk in de kitchen after he gets him out o' de high school class an' Boudreaux done have him a visitor dat ain't been dere since de long time.

De visitor, Arceneaux, done say, "Tee!  Boy, I ain't seen you in de coon's age!  What you be doin' dese days?"

An' Tee say, "I be in school, an' right now I done be lookin' fo' de job fo' evenin' an' summer."

Den Arceneaux smile an' say, "You be lookin' fo' you dream job?"

An' Aline, de big soeur[sister] done hear dat an' pop her head in de kitchen an' say, "Dream job?  Mais!  Dat boy's only dream job be as de guinea pig in a sleep study!"
