It's been an eventful week, and that means a week full of things for Thankful Day. I'm glad i take notes.
Little Lee is getting bigger, i was able to convince Sweetie to help me at Grandma and Grandpa's last week which got me done faster so i could go to his birthday party. A good time was had by all, especially the birthday boy.
Even though we were still a car short at the time, Sunday got worked out with a little help from Brother-in-Law, who was able to get Sweetie to church for choir rehearsal while i went to Becca's.
Monday was the day Slow-Moe alerted us that the solenoids were on the way out, i'm thankful i was able to get a next day slot to have it taken care of before it became critical.
Slow-Moe got repaired and the new/used car for #1 Son showed up Tuesday, which is also the day i got more of Ms. D's kitchen floor hand scrubbed. The difference it's making, both knowing #1 Son has a reliable car and the look of the kitchen floor, is striking.
Wednesday was one of those days where Ms. G put me through my paces. She'll be gone next week (i'm back on critter care duty) so she wanted it all done that day and i'm thankful my back held up.
Ms. SE started sending me texts before we even arrived Thursday morning letting me know she was sorry she'd left the house in such a state, but they are having company for the weekend and going out of town for the week, and all the rest. It really wasn't as bad as she thought, and she's the only employer who gives me a Thanksgiving bonus and i'm thankful.
Ms. A, Becca's mom, called me Thursday evening at home. "Did I remember to tell you we'll be out of town this weekend?"
Um, no, but with all on her plate, it's not a surprise, and i'm thankful she remembered. Also, i'm thankful Becca just decided to call me when she and her mom were out on a walk, she wanted to make sure i would be okay if she was gone for the weekend!
Grandma has been hankering for Seeduction Bread from Whole Foods. Thankfully, Sweetie was able to procure it Friday for us to take today.
The cat shelter last night was fun mayhem and had many thankful things.
Two adoptions, including Theo!
It turns out they don't use some of the syringes that were donated, they're meant for insulin, could i use them? Yes!
I found the leaky pipe in the bathroom so a plumber will be called ASAP.
It was the director's birthday, we surprised her with cupcakes and the worst single rendition of the Happy Birthday song i have ever personally been a part of.
Kittens that need extra care got to go together to a foster home.
Taken altogether, a good week.
Please write up your own list and link up to Ten Things of Thankful, where Dyanne and her co-hosts always have a warm welcome waiting.

It always amazes me how your 'thankful' things all revolve around 'service'. You are a light and an example to me!
