Cleo (Feline Friday) and Friendly Fill-Ins

 ***********************************

Feline Friday was originally started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude (who no longer blogs), and i'm going to believe it's because he likes cats.

He handed hosting duties off to Sandee at Comedy Plus, and now she's entrusting it to me.  Wish me luck!

Feline Friday is simple to join.  All you have to do is: Post a picture, drawing, cartoon or video of a cat (they may be silly or cute).  Then add your link!

One thing for sure is this is a fun and easy meme to do.  So come and join us in Feline Friday.

What better way to start the weekend than with a feline!

Through "a series of unfortunate events," Cleo was the shelter's longest term resident.  She was shy when she came as a half-grown kitten and didn't get adopted in her first few months, then got ringworm and was in isolation for a long time.  Once she came out of isolation, she was even more shy and has been at the shelter for almost a full year.

Last week, someone saw through the shyness to the sweetness, and adopted her.  Cleo wouldn't let me get too close to take a photo, but she has since gone to her forever home and is adjusting well.

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!

Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:

1. Be sure to _________ because _________.

2. I would never give _________ to _________.

3. I got _________ from _________.

4. Just because I _________ doesn't mean I _________.

1. Be sure to   take care of yourself while you are young  because   once it's too late, it's too late!

2. I would never give   money  to   an organization whose mission i don't agree with.

3. I got   most of my looks  from   Grandpa (my dad, my children's grandfather).  I had to have gotten mine from him, Grandma (my mom, my children's grandmother) still has hers!

4. Just because I   have faith  doesn't mean I   believe everything that comes along.
