Weather or Not (Cajun Joke) and Sunday Selections

 ***********************************

Just because Sandee of Comedy Plus is no longer hosting a Silly Sunday blog hop, do not expect me to quit telling Cajun jokes, especially as it has now become a habit.

Grandma and i were talking about #2 Son and his plans.  The wedding is next month, and after she graduates from college next May, they plan to move out of state.  They are looking to go to Alaska where half of her family lives, or to Wyoming or Montana, wherever they can both land jobs.

Then we got to talking about weather in those places, and how the temperatures the last few weeks here have been up and down and all around.

Boudreaux be tellin' Thibodeaux, "De weather keep goin' from needin' de air condition on to needin' to put de heatin' blanket back on de bed.  Mais!  It be like winter an' spring be done havin' dem a custody battle over us!"

***********************************

Sunday Selections was started as a way for bloggers to use photos that might otherwise just languish in their files.  The rules have been relaxed, and it is now simply a showcase for your photos, new or old, good or bad, although nothing rude, please.  It was hosted by River, who still participates, and is now hosted by Elephant's Child.

The shelter cats "wrote" thank you notes to the volunteers.

Flowers and gardens.  You can see how the sunflower seeds they are feeding the birds are growing into flowers in Mr. BA's yard.

A few skyscapes.

  1. I like all the yard decorations and the thank you cards. Boudreaux is right about the weather, last week I wore several layers and had the heater on in the bedroom, this week I have been going to the shops in a t-shirt.

  6. Boudreaux is correct. I had the same thing. One week it;s in the 80's and the week later it's in the 30's. The weather is nuts.
