Mr. Cal went for a grooming and he'd fussed so much about being brushed lately, he had some knots that wouldn't come out any other way, so he got a summer buzz cut.

This week the theme is Hot Air Balloons.                    

     

The Balloon Festival was coming to town

once more for the summer,

and while i enjoy seeing them,

the big crowds are a bummer.

We live across from a huge school yard

and if we keep our eyes peeled,

especially in the mornings we see

balloons landing or taking off from the field!

It's not the same as the big festival,

but i think that's okay,

we get to see a few of the balloons

and very close up this way!
