Sydney is Still at It (Feline Friday) and Friendly Fill-Ins

 ***********************************

Feline Friday was originally started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude (who no longer blogs), and i'm going to believe it's because he likes cats.

He handed hosting duties off to Sandee at Comedy Plus, and now she's entrusting it to me.

Feline Friday is simple to join.  All you have to do is: Post a picture, drawing, cartoon or video of a cat (they may be silly or cute).  Then add your link!

One thing for sure is this is a fun and easy meme to do.  So come and join us in Feline Friday.

What better way to start the weekend than with a feline!

Sydney, the epic escape artist cat who can open doors with lever handles, is back at the shelter.  His foster family thought of adopting him, but the little nut would not learn to get along with their cats.  When he started ambushing the other cats when they were minding their own business in a different room or sleeping, he had to come back.

His chair is back in business, too, keeping his door closed so he's not running around at night wreaking havoc.

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!

Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:

1. A sight I would like to unsee is _________.

2. I plan to _________ before the summer is over.

3. I sometimes forget that _________ isn't considered normal by most.

4. If my life were a book, the current chapter I'm in would be titled _________.

1. A sight I would like to unsee is   my parents in their underwear.  (As my brother, who is no longer with us, used to say in one of his comedy sketches, "I know I was lucky to be born.  I've seen both of my parents in their underwear.")

2. I plan to   order myself a late birthday gift, something small and not expensive but which i do not need, only want  before the summer is over.

3. I sometimes forget that   me cooking my weirdo vegetarian meals for me and my Sweetie cooking his own non-vegetarian meals for himself  isn't considered normal by most.

4. If my life were a book, the current chapter I'm in would be titled   Bless This Mess!

  1. I hope that the escapologist can find his forever home.
And we cook one vegie and one non vegie meal here too. It works for us.

  2. We are sad for Sydney, but obviously it was not the right home. He just likes to have fun and was probably a bit bored. Maybe he enjoys the shelter? Hopefully the right home will find him.

  7. Poor Sydney, it's sure unusual for an orange kitty to be a trouble maker. Those were good fill-in answers too!

  16. Perhaps Sydney should be renamed after that famous escape artist whose name I can't recall just now.

  17. That's a nice talent to have, Sydney, but we're sad you had to come back to the shelter. Sounds like he needs to go to a home with only plain old doorknobs.
