While tending critters at Ms. GA and Mr. BA's house over the weekend, this chap stopped by quite boldly to help himself to the proffered cat chow and wash it in the water trough.  He's cute, and the cats just ignore him now, but don't be fooled.  He's not tame, just fearless, so i was careful and gave him a wide berth as i toted the hose around watering plants.

In the photos, you can see Miss Alice walk past him and you also see her and Puddin' sitting on the patio while he's eating. Little Buddy ran by but wouldn't stop for a picture.

There are those who say,

newspaper has had its day.

The thought fills me with dread,

how will i do crosswords in bed?

When i was a child and the puppy

had an accident and left a mess,

and got a swat with a rolled up newspaper

did he get a distorted view of the press?

Several years ago we decided

the price of TV gave us the blues,

we opted to get rid of it,

and people ask, how do you get the news?

I look at them like they're mad things

and i say, "Well, there's radio, plus,

we get a paper, read headlines online,

and if the world ends, they'll inform us!
