"We need to get the ice chest out of the shop," Ms. G said, as we traipsed across the back yard.

"Oh, crud," she said upon opening the door, "I can't believe I left the furniture dolly there, I'm going to have to go around and try to climb over and hand it back to you..."

"Okay, now find a place to stow this shovel...that'll do...now we need to lift...oh wait...what's it catching on?  Oh, it's the chain hanging from the beam, hang on a minute...okay, now I've got it, hold this, hold this, here's the one I want, hand me back the others, and now we get out of here."

"One of these days, we have to reorganize the shop...and the office...and the library...and the cat room..."

And just like that, we had the ice chest!

Brian of Brian's Home hosts the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.   It's time to share something for which i am thankful.  

Today i am thankful i did not get seriously hurt at rEcess the other night.  I was chasing one of the younger kids, a little autistic boy who almost never quits running, so we all take turns running with him.  Somehow i stepped out of my shoe and went splat, but i wasn't seriously hurt, just bruised.  I even managed to pop right back up and keep running after him, and all is well.
