We Have Enough (Cajun Joke) and Sunday Selections

Just because Sandee of Comedy Plus is no longer hosting a Silly Sunday blog hop, do not expect me to quit telling Cajun jokes, especially as it has now become a habit.

We got to visit with Bigger Girl yesterday at Grandma and Grandpa's house!

She flew in from Seattle to meet up with a friend and they are flying out to meet the friend's parents for a vacation.  The friend's parents are paying and told their daughter to invite someone to come along.

I was so glad to see her, she's not sure when she'll be back.  She'd love to come home for the holidays, but as i told her, whenever she can get here, that's when we'll choose to celebrate the holidays.

Boudreaux done walk in de kitchen an' see Clothile glarin' at her phone.

"What be wrong?" he ax.

"I don' like me dat autocorrect," she say.  "I's tryin' to plan fo' de big family meal nex' week, an' I needs a know how many crockpots ever'one be goin' bring, an' de autocorrect done change it to 'crackpots,' an' I be lucky I done caughts it befo' I hit send!"

An Boudreaux say, "Mais, oui, you be lucky!  We gots enough crackpots in de fam'ly wit'out dem bringin' mo' wit' dem!"

When i left church last Sunday, because i'd parked under a tree i had this branch on my front window.  I timed it to see how long it would last once i got up on the freeway/interstate.
