About the Sum of It (Cajun Joke) and Sunday Selections

Just because Sandee of Comedy Plus is no longer hosting a Silly Sunday blog hop, do not expect me to quit telling Cajun jokes, especially as it has now become a habit.

Grandma keeps asking me how i can do number puzzles such as Nerdle, as she really doesn't like math.   Math isn't my strong suit, either, but i only do the simpler puzzles with addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.  None of the more complicated, algebraic equations for me.   https://nerdlegame.com/

Boudreaux done set down wit' Tee and be axin' him, "If'n you had you two big pecan shells in de one han' an' t'ree in de other han', how many pencils you gots?"

An' Tee say, "Five."

"Dat be right!" say Boudreaux.  "Now, if'n you gots six big pecan shells in one han', an' five in de other, what you got?"

"Mais!  You gots big han's!"

Sunday Selections was started as a way for bloggers to use photos that might otherwise just languish in their files.  The rules have been relaxed, and it is now simply a showcase for your photos, new or old, good or bad, although nothing rude, please.  It was hosted by River, who still participates, and is now hosted by Elephant's Child.

National Nut Day -- UK & US (also now celebrated around the world) (launched by Liberation Foods CIC, a fair trade nut company, urging us to celebrate fairly traded nuts and swap out a nut based burger for a meat based meal, at least for today, or grab a handful of nutritious almonds or walnuts or your own favorite mix; if you don't like nuts, you can just choose to go be one, instead)

Pastoral Care Week begins -- honoring all clergy who provide spiritual help and care, they need recognition and care themselves; this year's theme is "Chaplaincy and Mental Health: It's Healthy to Get Help"    

Respiratory Care Week begins -- recognizing the respiratory care profession and promoting awareness of lung health issues; this year's theme is "Respiratory Therapy, Our Passion, Our Purpose"
