Feline Friday was originally started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude (who no longer blogs), and i'm going to believe it's because he likes cats.
He handed hosting duties off to Sandee at Comedy Plus, and now she's entrusting it to me.
Feline Friday is simple to join. All you have to do is: Post a picture, drawing, cartoon or video of a cat (they may be silly or cute). Then add your link!
One thing for sure is this is a fun and easy meme to do. So come and join us in Feline Friday.
What better way to start the weekend than with a feline!
I caught Mr. Spiffy up to his trick, drinking his water by dipping his paw in it.

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!
Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:
1. The best part of 2023 was _________.
2. My focus word for 2024 is _________.
3. A new year is a great time to _________.
4. You don't have to wait for a new year to _________.
1. The best part of 2023 was deciding i had to take a day off every week for my sanity.
2. My focus word for 2024 is "Best" as in, to give my best and try my best every day.
3. A new year is a great time to get ready for tax season.
4. You don't have to wait for a new year to realize something in your life isn't working and change it.

Mr Spiffy is a cutie. We had a cat who ate (and loved) yoghurt that way.
ReplyDeleteYour fourth fill-in is right on the money.
Mr.Spiffy is cute drinking like that. If Flynn had food that didn't meet his approval he would eat like that, then flick it off his paw all over the fridge door!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun way of drinking.
ReplyDeleteHe's evidently checking the temperature. Is it too warm? Is it too cold? Like your feelings this time. And , it really is time to think about tax season isn't it?
ReplyDeleteLove that name Mr Spiffy, LOL! Funny guy! Can't believe you mentioned tax season, we never like that part of the new year.
ReplyDeleteMy Dani does the same thing as Mr. Spiffy! It's a slow way to drink, but then you get some extra flavour.
ReplyDeleteMr. Spiffy is pretty darn cute and those were good fill-in answers!
ReplyDeleteMr. Spiffy is a cutie. My Friday drinks like that and gets water everywhere. Thanks for hosting Feline Friday and for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I am glad you get a day off during the week. And that is a great word choice. XO
ReplyDeleteAn interesting way to drink, a bit like sticking a finger in your coffee as you swallow it! I too will try my best in the New Year!
ReplyDeleteGreat fill ins. Mr. Spiffy is so cute. I've seen a few cats drink that way. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteLOL @ Mr Spiffy what a way to drink :-)

A ShutterBug Explores,
aka (A Creative Harbor)
That's a happy cat.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
I came to enter the hop, and I found you already entered it for me. Thank you! We have had a few cats who have used their paw to drink water, as Mr. Spiffy is doing. None of our current ones do that; though, some put their paw in to identify where the water is. Happy New Year!
